Mission Multiply
Are you looking for a fun way to learn multiplication facts? Bring out this fun space-themed game to make learning the times tables exciting and engaging.
Here’s how to play Mission Multiply. Your goal is to destroy the meteors by shooting them with a missile. First, aim at a meteor by moving your rocket to the left or right using the arrows. Then, shoot a missile by selecting the correct answer to the multiplication equation written on the meteor. When you hit a meteor, you’ll earn points that are added to your score at the top of the screen. But, you’d better hurry! If the meteor hits your rocket, the game is over. If a meteor hits the bottom of the screen, the points will be subtracted from your score. You must maintain a score above zero to keep playing.
Mission multiply is a great game to play in small groups or to use as individual work in a math center. You might even assign mission multiply as homework! Once students master their multiplication facts, they’ll be ready to move on to more complex multiplication problems, division, and more. Plus, as the game advances, students must answer faster and faster to keep up, which reinforces fluency.
